Mert Sahin
Staff AI/ML Engineer at Lockheed Martin · Austin, TX
Hi, I'm Mert. I build coding agents that understand the enterprise systems they work in.
- Knowledge graphs as agent context: I'm building a read-only graph of an entire SAP custom codebase (objects, calls, reads, writes, and the change history around them) so agents and people can answer where-used and impact questions before anything is edited.
- MCP tools for real systems: I design MCP servers that let agents search, check, activate, test and debug inside SAP, with read-only profiles and confirmation gates for anything that changes the system.
- Multi-agent delivery: a spec-driven process where OpenAI Codex specifies and reviews what Claude Code builds, and nobody accepts their own work.
Before agents, I spent sixteen years inside SAP systems: ABAP developer, consultant, and S/4HANA architect at Deloitte, where I led an eight-person engineering team.
Writing
Short, practical notes on coding agents, harnesses and MCP.
- Running Codex and Claude as a two-agent team: what broke, and the rules that fixed it
- Long-running agents need a progress file, not a bigger context window
- The harness is the product
- Coding agents, October 2024 to October 2026: the 20 events that mattered
- ABAP has an official MCP server now. What to expose, and what to keep read-only
